Joining Three River Group in the summer of 2021 has been the most transformative decision of my career. My journey began amidst the balancing act of college, a cashier role at Chick-fil-A, and landscaping work. It was during one of these landscaping jobs that I had a chance encounter with David who I hadn’t seen since high school. David and I were never close, so our conversation began with casual catching up. However, the discussion soon turned towards David’s recent success in the insurance industry.

What David described that day sounded like my dream job. We chatted for 45 minutes and that night I went home and started studying for my insurance license. 3 weeks later, I was licensed. 3 years later, I can say “dream job” is a description that has held true.

I’ve known since a young age that I wasn’t made to sit behind a desk for 8 hours a day or clock in and clock out when I’m granted permission. I prefer for my goals to serve as my motivation rather than a weekly schedule, and this has led me to make just shy of six figures in my junior spring/senior fall of college. I wake up every single day thrilled to inch TRG closer to the vision we all share. I graduated from Salisbury University with a bachelor’s degree in finance in May 2024, and married the love of my life, Katherine, in June of 2024.

The insurance industry has enriched my life significantly and helped me grow from a hopeful, yet aimless college student working a part time job to a married, college graduate with a clear understanding of how I can churn my hard work into tangible success.
